Die Dew Tour wird diesen Sommer vom 13. – 16. Juni 2019 in Long Beach statt finden und wird als offizielle Qualifizierung für Skateboarding Park und Street für Männer und Frauen für die olympischen Spiele 2020 in Tokyo dienen. Skateboarding wird zum erstem mal Teil der olympischem Spiele 2020 in Tokyo sein und wurde als zusätzlicher Sport für die Spiele 2024 in Paris vorgeschlagen.

Über 80 top Skateboarder/innen werden in individuellen Park und Street Wettbewerben gegeneinander antreten um den Dew Tour Titel zu gewinnen und wertvolle Punkte für ihr nationales Team für die olympischen Spiele zu verdienen. In diesem Jahr werden u.a. USA Skateboarding Team Mitglieder Nyjah Huston, Jagger Eaton, Tristan Rennie, Mariah Duran, Lacey Baker, Jordyn Barratt sowie internationale Skateboarder Oskar Rozenberg (SWE), Kelvin Hoefler (BRA), Pamela Rosa (BRA), Yuto Horigome (JPN), Leticia Bufoni (BRA) und Ryan Decenzo (CAN) zu erwarten sein.

Das 4-tägige Event ist kostenfrei und bietet neben den verschiedenen Skateboard Wettbewerben, die DEW Tour Experience, eine interaktive Sponsor Village und Dew Tour on the Green, ein Festival im Freien mit Musik, verschiedenen lokalen Ess- und Trinkständen sowie einem öffentlichem Skatepark für die Besucher.

The Dew Tour competition and festival will take place this summer from June 13-16 2019 in Long Beach, CA. It will serve as the official qualifying event for men’s and women’s skateboarding park and street competitions Olympic Games 2020 in Tokyo. For the first time Skateboarding will be part of the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2020, and has also been proposed as an additional sport in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

More than 80 of the world’s top male and female skateboarders will compete in individual Park and Street competitions for a chance to win the Dew Tour title and trying to earn valuable points toward their country’s Olympic skateboarding team. Skateboarders this year will include USA Skateboarding national team members Nyjah Huston, Jagger Eaton, Tristan Rennie, Mariah Duran, Lacey Baker, Jordyn Barratt, as well as international skaters Oskar Rozenberg (SWE), Kelvin Hoefler (BRA), Pamela Rosa (BRA), Yuto Horigome (JPN), Leticia Bufoni (BRA) and Ryan Decenzo (CAN).

The four-day event is free and open to the public and includes skateboarding competition, the Dew Tour Experience, a vibrant interactive sponsor village and Dew Tour on the Green, a festival of outdoor music, local food and drink vendors and lifestyle activations, including a public skate park.
