Zum ersten mal wird 2019 das Lollapalooza auch in Schweden statt finden. Vom 28. bis 30. Juni kommt das Sommerfestival nach Gärdet, einem wunderschönen Park im Herzen von Stockholm. Stockholm wird damit zur 6. Edition des weltbekannten Festivals, neben Santiago, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Berlin und Paris.

Als Headliner für Stockholm haben die Veranstalter die Foo Fighters, Rapper Travis Scott, Lana Del Rey und die iranisch-schwedische Pop Folk Künstlerin Laleh bestätigt. Auf vier verschiedenen Bühnen werden u.a. Greta Van Fleet, Billie Eilish, The Hives, Bring Me The Horizon, The 1975, Alan Walker, Mike Perry, Rebecca & Fiona, Sandra Mosh, Kungs, und Junior Brielle spielen.

Das Lollapalooza wurde 1991 von Jane’s Addiction Sänger Perry Farrel in Chicago gegründet und hat sich über die Jahre weltweit expandiert.

For the first time Lollapalooza will come to Sweden in 2019. The festival will take place from June 28-30, 2019 at Gärdet, a beautiful park in the heart of Stockholm, Sweden. Stockholm becomes the sixth international edition of the world-class festival, alongside Santiago, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Berlin and Paris.

The festival organizers announced Foo Fighters, rap superstar Travis Scott, pop anti-heroine Lana Del Rey, and Iranian/Swedish pop-folk artist Laleh as headliners. Other performances across four stages will include Greta Van Fleet, Billie Eilish, The Hives, Bring Me The Horizon, The 1975, Alan Walker, Mike Perry, Rebecca & Fiona, Sandra Mosh, Kungs, and Junior Brielle.

Lollapalooza initially launched out of Chicago back in 1991 by Jane’s Addiction singer Perry Farrell and has started to expand world wide.
