Die weltbesten Surfer kamen gestern zu den jährlich an der Gold Coast von Australien statt findenden ASP Word Surfing Awards zusammen. An diesem Abend wurden die Leistungen des letzten Jahres ausgezeichnet und die ASP World Championship Tour 2014 offiziell eröffnet.

Ausgezeichnet wurden u.a. Heat of the Year, Breakthrough Performers and natürlich die ASP World Champions, Mick Fanning (AUS) und Carissa Moore (HAW).
